Student Centre takes care of the student standard of the University of Split students for over 50 years. Basic activities offered by the Student Centre involve: accommodation, preparation of meals and occasional jobs - student service.
ACCOMMODATION
Student accommodation is organised in three student residences with 1,231 beds.
Student residence “HOSTEL SPINUT” has 223 beds. Three single rooms are adjusted to accommodate students with
disabilities. It is located at the address Spinutska bb.
Student residence “BRUNO BUŠIĆ” has 403 beds. It is located at the address Spinutska 37.
Student residence dr. Franjo Tuđman at the Campus is a newly opened modern residence with 605 beds.
MEALS
All full-time students are entitled to subsidized meals served in 7 restaurants, located in the centre of the town "Indeks, in Hostel Spinut", Student residence dr. Franjo Tuđman at the Campus, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy, School of Medicine and cantinas at the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Humanitie.
Daily 4,500 meals are prepared in accordance with nutritional requirements and quality standardsas well as with regulations prescribed by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.
STUDENT SERVICE
Student Service is a unit of the Student Centre acting as an intermediary in finding temporary and occasional jobs for full-time
students. Over 7,000 students a year find jobs through the Student service, which improves their standard and their social engagement.
