About the project "Mini Academy of Sustainability"

UniCompoST (Split) is implementing project "Mini Academy of Sustainability" with the aim of developing and implementing a specialized program for developing green skills in educational institutions. The program is intended for primary and secondary school pupils in the area of Split.

The project "Mini Academy of Sustainability" aims to encourage young people in education (primary and secondary schools) to acquire and develop green knowledge and skills that can be applied in everyday life and activities, as well as to encourage educational institutions to strengthen their capacities in educating for environment and sustainable development, in accordance with EU’s priorities.

European Union encourages the education sector to get engaged in the green transition and improve pupils’ competences concerning sustainability. Pupils in all levels should be able to develop knowledge, skills and attitudes in order to practice more sustainable lifestyles, change their patterns of consumption and contribute to a greener future.

The project is implemented from January 1 to July 31, 2023, and is financed with EU’s Solidarity Corps program funds.
