Month of Intellectual Property at UNIST - a series of free workshops, new innovations and coffee, opportunities and challenges of ChatGPT

World Intellectual Property Day awaits us in April 2023, and to mark it, University of Split dedicated the entire month to a series of free lectures and workshops, on topics of innovation and intellectual property protection, intended for small entrepreneurs, researchers, but also students.

Mark these dates:

- April 21, 2023 (MEFST, classroom B101, at 1 p.m.) - Valorisation of knowledge: Understanding processes and possibilities of funding

From identifying valuable knowledge to commercialization and protection of intellectual property, there is no one better than Mladen Vukmir, world expert on intellectual property and president of ECTA. Ivana Vuka, head of University's Technology Transfer Office, will take care of part of the lecture on funding.

- April 26, 2023 (PICS@FESB, at 2 p.m.) - Innovations and Coffee: Success Stories of Innovation and Creativity from a Female Perspective

Ivana Maršić from Myrio ltd. and Marija Stupalo from Salona Var ltd. are guests at this year's first Innovations and coffee event.

- April 28, 2023 (PMF, amphitheatre A1-1, at 1 p.m. - Smart use of artificial intelligence and Chat GPT: challenges and opportunities

Recently, artificial intelligence and Chat GPT covered all world at a record speed. As part of this year's Science Festival, Kristjan Zemlić, a Slovenian expert, will share his experiences on innovative use of artificial intelligence, while Ivana Vuka, head of the University's Technology Transfer Office, will talk about ethical and legal aspects. Professors Saša Mladenović and Goran Zaharija from PMF will join this workshop.
