Centre for Transdisciplinary Research and Promoting Culture of Health established at University of Split’s Faculty of Humanities

The Centre for Transdisciplinary Research and Promoting Culture of Health was established at Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, as its organizational unit.

With its basic orientation, being transdisciplinary, this Centre is the first of its kind at the Faculty of Humanities and among the first at the University of Split, it follows goals set by the Development Strategy of the Faculty of Humanities 2021-2025 as well as those set by University of Split’s strategy for 2021-2025.

The establishment of the Centre was also encouraged by the idea and desire of the academic community, part of University of Split and interuniversity cooperation, both here and abroad, to get engaged in researching and promoting activities aimed at reducing health inequalities and negative effects of this pandemic; as well as promote culture of health and healthy life styles among students and wider social community.

Prof. Sanja Stanić Ph.D. was appointed head of the centre.
