The event was organized by the Centre for Transdisciplinary Promotion of Sustainable Development (OdRaST) and Centre for Human Rights Research and Education, both affiliated with University of Split’s Faculty of Humanities. The Faculty provided significant organizational and financial assistance to the conference, ensuring a high-quality event with international resonance.
During the conference’s three days, there were plenary lectures, thematic sessions, round tables, and a poster section. The main topics of discussion included:
- Achievements and missed opportunities in SDG implementation over the past decade,
- The role of science, education, and culture in promoting sustainability,
- Climate change, biodiversity, and energy transition,
- Social justice, human rights, and inclusive policies,
- Future strategies for effective action after 2025.
The conference concluded with adopting recommendations and initiatives for continued cooperation at regional and international levels, confirming Split as an important place for dialogue on sustainable future — but also a city whose charm and hospitality make every event special.
