From 5 to 9 May 2025, the University of Split hosted the 1st SEA-EU International Week, which included the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled Halfway there? Reaching the Goal of 50% Mobility. The event was organised by the International Relations Office, the SEA-EU Office, and the University Department of Professional Studies.

The week gathered 83 participants from 47 institutions across 27 countries in Europe and beyond. The programme featured lectures, workshops, panels, cultural activities, and the exchange of good practices in the field of international mobility and cooperation.

Highlights included:

- a pilot proposal for a mobility measurement framework within the SEA-EU Alliance,

- the presentation of the SEA EU joint bachelor’s programme SeaBlue,

- panels on Erasmus+ mobility trends,

- workshops on resilience, interculturality, AI, and intergenerational communication,

- and topics related to inclusive communication and service-learning.

Additionally, 23 professors from 18 foreign institutions delivered lectures at seven different University of Split constituents.

The International Week served as a platform to strengthen cooperation both within and beyond the EU and provided a valuable contribution to increasing the quantity and quality of mobility in the European Education Area. The event concluded at the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences (MediLS), where certificates of participation were awarded, and participants expressed their interest in continued collaboration and development of joint initiatives.
