As part of scientific conference Gender(ed) Landscapes, taking place at Faculty of Humanities, University of Split, an art installation by renowned multimedia artist Neli Ružić was installed. The conference aims to create a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue, as well as encourage cooperation between scientists and artists reflecting on gender in contemporary society, critically examining and exploring it, including different perspectives and angles, Neli Ružić’ installation represents a thoughtful artistic intervention in the faculty’s public space, regarding the faculty not only as a place of education, but also space for meetings, artistic expression, and other engagements.
This installation, named "Sve odjednom/All at once" is part of a bigger artistic and scientific project REPER, being implemented in cooperation between Split’s Faculty of Humanities and Croatian Association of Visual Artists in Split. This project is based on the model of one-year exhibition cycles aimed to encourage critical thinking and dialogue on current social, cultural and academic topics.
The project was initiated and is led by assoc. prof. Dalibor Prančević, PhD.
Neli Ružić's installation will be on display at Faculty of Humanities until November 9, inviting students, professors and the general public to reflect and emancipate.
