Promotion of book "Forensic Genetics: Basics and Applications," by authors and editors prof. Damir Marjanović Ph.D., prof. Dragan Primorac Ph.D., and assoc. prof. Adna Ašić Ph.D., took place on March 27 at University Department of Forensic Sciences.
Prof. Damir Marjanović Ph.D. introduced this book’s new edition, after which prof. Dragan Primorac Ph.D., honorary head of University Department of Forensic Sciences, gave lecture titled "Forensic Genetics: Past, Present, and Future." In this lecture, he presented not only knowledge but also experience of editors accumulated over more than 25 years of joint work in this scientific field. He covered various topics, including processes of identifying war victims, working on different forensic cases, and offered his perspective on future development of forensic genetics.
