As part of the virtual component of the international summer school Co-creating Learning Environments for Web 4.0 Augmented Virtual Education (Co-WAVE), a hackathon will be held for students interested in innovative approaches to education, artificial intelligence, virtual worlds, and emerging digital technologies.
The Co-WAVE Hackathon will take place online, October 5 to 8, 2026, with a total of 24 hours of activities—six hours per day. Over four days, participants will work in teams to develop an innovative solution—a virtual world for education—based on a given theme. At the end, they will present their solution to an international jury comprising representatives from academia and industry.
