University of Split’s Croatian Chamber of Physiotherapists and Faculty of Health Sciences organized a joint exercise in front of the Three Faculties Building in Split’s Campus on Monday, September 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Faculty staff, citizens of Split, and Secondary Health School students joined this activity. The Faculty of Health Sciences recognized Assoc. Prof. Jure Aljinović Ph.D.’s project for Fall Prevention as the best institutional project in 2022/23.
University Department of Health Studies in Split, now renamed Faculty of Health Sciences, was established in 2011 as the successor to professional studies of nursing, physiotherapy, and radiologic technology, which were previously conducted at Split School of Medicine.
Physiotherapy at this faculty offers a comprehensive educational program that includes theoretical knowledge, practical skills and clinical experience, preparing students for independent physiotherapy procedures and work in various healthcare institutions. The study is recognized for its high quality of teaching and equipment, attracting a large number of candidates each year.
