139 graduated students of Faculty of Chemistry and Technology were promoted on May 19 in front of the Three Faculties Building, by prof. Matko Erceg Ph.D., KTF's Dean, with Vice-deans: prof. Dražan Jozić Ph.D., prof. Vesna Sokol Ph.D. and assoc. prof. Anto Prkić Ph.D..
On behalf of the University, prof. Igor Jerković Ph.D., Vice-rector for science and quality, greeted promoted students, telling them that they have proved that with hard work, effort and dedication, one can acquire knowledge and pass all exams in these extremely demanding studies in the STEM field.
-Today you will receive Faculty diplomas from University of Split, which has been, according to data, starting from this week, ranked in top 4 percent of 20,500 world universities on CWUR ranking - vice-rector Jerković asserted.
Faculty of Chemistry and Technology's Dean, prof. Matko Erceg Ph.D., congratulated his former students, emphasizing the fact that they completed one of the most demanding study programs at the University.
- To date, almost three thousand students graduated from our Faculty, who have and are still working in responsible positions. KTF's first promotion was held way back in 1964, and since then, we have been keeping up with current challenges, with our study programs and knowledge we provide. We believe that we have prepared you, through your study, as well as possible, for all challenges that await you - Dean Erceg said, stressing that they must be ready and willing for lifelong learning and additional education.
