On Thursday, October 17th, a ceremonial session of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy in Split (FGAG)’s Alumni and Friends Association (F-GAGA) took place, attended by around one hundred guests. Among them were University of Split’s Vice-Rector for Infrastructure, Prof. Nikša Jajac Ph.D., President of the umbrella association ASUS (University of Split Alumni), assoc. prof. Marijo Podrug Ph.D., numerous alumni, professors, professional organizations’ representatives, and other prominent members of the academic community. The event served as an opportunity for reunion, sharing experiences, and connecting association’s members into a strong network.
Its president, Nives Brajčić Kurbaša, emphasized that the association’s goal is to become a recognizable and influential organization that not only assists its members but also contributes to the development of the local community and beyond.
"Our association will not grow on its own. It will be as strong as we are prepared to invest our time, energy, and ideas," she pointed out, urging all those present to actively participate in association’s future activities. She praised Management Board members for their enthusiasm and dedication, stating that this synergy is the key to success.
The gathering continued with a banquet, where attendees had the opportunity to converse, renew old friendships, and create new contacts. It was all a big success, as confirmed by excellent turnout and positive feedback from those present.
