Celebratory concert of Image flute quartet, composed of Marija Bašić Markotić, Mila Lapov, Ana Vrvilo and Antonia Mikas, took place on Saturday, January 13, at University Gallery. A large audience enjoyed the rich program and great performance by musicians joined by Goran Grubić and Marija Marević /flutes (Josip Hatze Music School), Mija Matija Vrvilo /percussion and the Mandolin Quartet Da Capo: Ivana Kenk Kalebić, 1st mandolin, Sandra Kovačević, 2nd mandolin, Ivanka Prusac, guitar, and Tomislav Kalebić, mandoloncello.
Director of Split Music Youth, Pero Prosenica, explained that this association is engaged in producing musical and stage content, mostly cooperating with young musicians and in the field of educating young audiences.
- Part of the program is cooperating with professional musicians, as is the case this time, when we present Image quartet, a group from Split with which we have been cooperating for years, both with entire ensemble and individual members, having realized many concerts - Prosenica said, thanking the University Gallery, its manager Helena Trze Jakelić, and University of Split, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, for their openness and cooperation.
