In Split Faculty of Science (PMF) dean, prof. Mile Dželalija, Ph.D.’s office, on July 1, 2024, a contract on business cooperation was signed between the Faculty, University of Split and City of Split’s Community of Technical Culture. The contract was signed by, on behalf of PMF, prof. Dželalija and, on behalf of ZTK, its president Martin Olujić. Community’s secretary, Tomislav Nikolić, also attended the signing.
Business cooperation between contracting parties is established in fields of science and higher education, so that university-industry cooperation (ZTK Split) will enable PMF students carrying out part of teaching, that is professional practice, for the purpose of gaining concrete practical knowledge and work experience. ZTK Split gathers pupils for extracurricular technical activities workshops throughout the school year, as well as during holidays. That is why this signed cooperation agreement is so important for them and it represents a good promotion of science and technical culture.
In the past two years, ZTK Split signed similar cooperation acts with Split Faculty of Humanities and Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding.
