DUMP Days X: Anniversary Edition of Student IT Conference with Speakers from Photomath, Google, Riot Games and Infobip
The tenth anniversary edition of the DUMP Days conference took place on May 28 and 29 at FESB. It is a free student IT conference that brings together students, industry professionals and leading IT companies in one place.

This year's speakers included Ivan Maček, who explained technologies behind games like League of Legends and VALORANT; Damir Sabol, founder of Photomath and director at Google, who shared his entrepreneurial experience; and Marko Velić, software engineer at Google, who spoke about how big language models (LLMs) "think."

In front of FESB, visitors were greeted by a car surprise this year, and in the atrium, longtime partners Infobip and Ericsson Nikola Tesla were again present. Abysalto returned, and for the first time, Sparky joined as well. Alongside them, numerous other exhibitors invited visitors to stop by their stands and get to know firsthand — highlighted Ante Vuković, head of the sponsorship team.

This year’s DUMP Days also introduced several new accompanying activities that started even before the conference. As part of the pre-event program there was a general knowledge quiz in collaboration with Quizotto.ai. Participants faced challenges in logic, speed and teamwork, with the best teams winning prizes such as rafting on Cetina, Kontraloop Premium bowling packages (with food and drinks), as well as DUMP merchandise packages.

The conference is organized by University of Split students, members of FESB’s DUMP Association of Young Programmers, which has been running free educational programs for 16 years, such as Programming Basics School, "From Python to AI Developers," and DUMP Internship, a six-month education program in development, design, multimedia and marketing.
