The EAIE 2025 fair took place in Gothenburg, September 10 - 12, attracting over 7,000 experts from across Europe and the world, focused on internationalization of higher education and mobility.
The University of Split made an impact at the session "From barriers to bridges: Enhancing mobility opportunities in EUI alliances," led by Ana Ćosić, Head of International Cooperation at University of Split. The goal was to identify main barriers, recognize mobility drivers, and showcase best practices.
SEA-EU Alliance’s importance in promoting mobility was emphasized and Gordana Dujmović, Technical Manager of SEA-EU 2.0 project and SEA-EU office in Split’s representative participated. Through joint efforts of the International Cooperation Office and SEA-EU Alliance, conditions are being created for greater international mobility and their success has been confirmed globally: UNIST ranked first in the world, in 2025, in WURI category of Student Mobility and Openness, making it the leading institution in international mobility and openness, especially considering innovative Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) models.
Representing University of Split at EAIE fair were Rector, prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D., Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, prof. Zoran Đogaš Ph.D., Head of Rector's Office, Ivana Pletković, Head of Financial Operations and Accounting, Jelena Hrga, associate for academic mobility Ana Marinović, and FESB’s Vice Dean for Students and Quality, assoc. prof. Damir Sedlar Ph.D.
