Ambassador of Hungary, Nj. E. Csaba Demscak, Second Secretary of the Embassy, Dusan Horvath, and Honorary Consul of Hungary to Split, Ivo Staničić, visited the University of Split on Wednesday, March 24. Prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D., University of Split’s Rector, prof. Đurđica Miletić Ph.D., Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Ivana Pletković, Head of Rector's Office, welcomed them at the rectorate.

At the meeting, everyone expressed their readiness to improve good relations, emphasizing connection between our University and universities in Hungary, as well as the desire to cooperate in potential joint projects. They talked about getting students from Split acquainted with Hungarian culture, science and sports, as well as their colleagues with Croatian. Some of other topics were circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as dealing with its consequences in higher education.
