Comprehensive health care will soon be available for University students not residing in Split

According to Marko Rađa MD, director of the Split-Dalmatia County’s Health Centre, University of Split students residing outside of Split will soon have comprehensive health care.

- University of Split, the Health Centre and Split-Dalmatia County will soon sign a contract, enabling the provision of health care to students outside their domicile or place of residence, in certain Health Centre’s offices. In this way, every student who is not from Split will be provided with primary health care by general practitioners and dentists, and female students will be able to see a gynecologist - director Rađa explained.

He pointed out that this initiative was first implemented because of foreign students, especially those studying Medicine in English, and then it spread to entire University’s domestic students.
