Horizon Europe’s Info Day at the University of Split

Agency for Mobility and EU Programs, Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) and University of Split as host, held Horizon Europe program’s Info Day. The goal was to present information concerning the program’s framework in certain aspects.

After welcoming speeches by prof. Leandra Vranješ Markić Ph.D., University of Split’s vice-rector for science and innovation, and Mrs. Ivana Puljiz, Agency for Mobility and EU Programs’ assistant director for EU programs in field of science, in the info day’s the first part, basic features of the Horizon Europe program were presented, tips on how to write a good project proposal, legal and financial aspects of applying to and implementing project proposals as well as widening participation and strengthening European Research Area and actions of the Centre Marie Skłodowska – Curie (MSCA).

Participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Ministry of Science and Education’s measures intended to strengthen Croatia’s participation in EU measures.

In the second part of the event, parallel sessions were held on areas from Cluster 1-Health, Cluster 2-Culture, creativity and inclusive society, Cluster 5-Climate, energy and the European Innovation Council (EIC)’s instrument that, among other things, included presenting competitions that end in 2022, broad topics in drafts for 2023-2024, as well as competitions that are being prepared for that time.
