University of Split, at the initiative of doctoral student Maja Čović from the Faculty of Maritime Studies, is organizing a humanitarian action of collecting required readings for the needs of the wards of KBC Split’s Pediatric Clinic. All students, professors and staff who want to participate can leave their books in the atrium or faculty gates of all University components, or if they are unable to bring the books themselves and still want to donate, they can contact colleague Maja Čovic, at 091 155 74 67, and she will pick them up herself.

The books will be collected until January 15, 2021, but the first part of donated books will be given to the Clinic’s head nurse, Ivanka Ercegović, and head, prof. chief physician Veselin Škrabić Ph.D. just before Christmas Eve.
This is a commendable action that will enable all children undergoing treatment at the Pediatric Clinic of KBC Split to successfully continue their education and fulfill school obligations even in difficult circumstances.
