Humanitarian freshmen party "Students for Petrinja" on Split Campus exceeded expectations

DJ Leete, Band 058, Grupa Best, Taxi band, Giuliano, Klapa Cambi and Petar Dragojević, in that order performers took stage in the packed "Campus" restaurant at the October Humanitarian freshmen party “Students for Petrinja” and performed their hits.

For this frenzy are responsible Student Centre in Split and Student Catholic Centre Split (SKAC St), which have for years been organizing various humanitarian actions this time of year.

This concert was also an introduction to the largest volunteer action in Croatia called 72 hours without compromise, which this year gathered more than 600 volunteers in Split who, over three days, performed numerous actions for the benefit of our citizens. Students at the party also wore recognizable green T-shirts. In the past three years, there were no parties for freshman students, so it is not surprising that there was such a big interest.

- We wanted to organize a classic party for freshmen, but when we heard that SKAC was planning a charity concert at the same time, we offered them to hold it at the freshmen’ party. As you can see, it was successful - Ivan Žižić, director of Split Student Centre and the evening’s co-organizer, said.

The humanitarian campaign lasted during October, and 75 percent of the required HRK 75,000 was collected (at the party). Well done students! Well done performers! Well done volunteers!
