Tomasz Aftanski, EUSA delegate for futsal and representative of the European University Sports Association, visited the city and University of Split from November 3 to 5. The purpose of this visit to Split was to check out how preparations for the upcoming European University Futsal Championship, which Split organizes next July, are progressing.
During the inspection visit, Mr. Aftanski deemed the Organizing Committee and facilities that should host best academic futsal players from all over Europe in July ready. University of Split Rector, prof. Dragan Ljutić, Ph.D., and President of Split’s City Council, prof. Željko Domazet Ph.D., warmly welcomed the EUSA representative, proving once again the City’s full support of this event.
Overall impression was more than positive, and our guest had only words of praise for the entire infrastructure, both sports and university, as well as all facilities that the championship’s participants will have at their disposal within Campus.
