Minister Tramišak presented ten contracts to institutions supporting entrepreneurship in Split’s urban agglomeration

On Thursday, February 4, the Minister of Regional Development and European Union Funds, Nataša Tramišak, and the Director of EU’s Central Agency for Financing and Contracting, Tomislav Petric, presented grant agreements in Split.
In addition to the Minister and CFCA Director, the Prefect of the Split-Dalmatia County Blaženko Boban, the Mayor of Split Andro Krstulović Opara and Rector of the

University of Split prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D., hosting the event, were also there.
- Every time the Minister comes to Split, we are glad because she brings many new projects and confirmation of new financial investments in our city and the Split-Dalmatia County, meaning the University of Split - said Rector Ljutić, emphasizing the importance of all stakeholders working together. He said that the University is constantly working to improve the student standard, pointing out the construction of a new student dormitory on Campus.
Minister Tramišak and Director Petric presented contracts to project beneficiaries: the City of Split, the Development Agency Split - RaST, the Development Agency of the Municipality of Dugopolje - ODRAZ, the Development Agency of the Municipality of Lećevica - LASTA, the Development Agency of Kaštela, Mosaic Incubator, ROTERMA Ltd. For designing, supervising and setting up thermal installations, representation and trade in goods, the SCALA Entrepreneurship Center and E.C.H.R.

These projects strengthen the institutions supporting entrepreneurship of Split’s urban agglomeration, with the aim of providing innovative and quality services to entrepreneurs coming from City of Split’s area. The project’s total value is HRK 30.8 million, and that of European Union funds grants is HRK 25.2 million.
- Signing 9 grant agreements, worth over 17 million HRK, strengthens the institutions supporting entrepreneurship of the urban agglomeration of Split with the aim of providing innovative and quality services to entrepreneurs in this area. Signing of the contract for the project "Choose a bike!", which is worth 13.6 million HRK continues the establishment and development of public bicycle systems in the urban agglomeration as an alternative form of public transport. Through this project, 41 new station with 242 bicycles will be set up in Split’s area of the agglomeration and two bicycle roads established - one in Trogir and the other in Split - said Minister Tramišak during the presentation of the grant agreements.
