A webinar on the theme “For Work Fit for People”

The University of Split in partnership with The Union of Autonomous Trade Unions of Croatia (UATUC) will be organizing a webinar on the theme “For Work Fit for People”.

The event will take place on Tuesday, September 22 in the framework of European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW) via Zoom.

This webinar targets students, young workers, who are often inexperienced in the labor market and it will focus on unemployment issues.

“For Work Fit for People” is coordinated by The Union of Autonomous Trade Unions of Croatia and concentrates on exploring the fundamental rights of every human being and improving the quality of jobs, and living and working standards of all citizens in Croatia. UATUC promotes values of human dignity, freedom, a democracy of all citizens, primarily workers. “For Work Fit for People” is a realistic goal a fundamental right of every human being but it will not be achieved of itself.  We need to fight and win the “For Work Fit for People’’ together, to protect and achieve our objective, better jobs, and working environment.

Guest webinar speakers Ms. Nediljka Buklijaš, Education and Youth Officer (UATUC), Ms. Sunčica Brnadić, Advisor for Labor and Social Law (UATUC), and Ms. Renata Čepo, UATUC Commissioner will discuss the following topics: What is a Goodjob? What is job satisfaction? Are we satisfied with the work we do? How to know if you’re doing a good job? Good working environment? How to prevent unfair treatment in your workplace? The latest research and reports from the UATUC. How to achieve For Work Fit for People in Croatia?
