More about Service-Learning within the SEA-EU Alliance:
The Alliance planned to set up its Centre for Service-Learning. Service Learning is a form of innovative pedagogy that combines learning outcomes and local community activities, in order to improve personal and professional growth of students, as well as serve the entire community. Service Learning promotes practical and work-based experience, as well as working with external mentors, in order to achieve diversity in developed knowledge and skills, encouraging the achievement of more learning outcomes. As students are the focus of service learning, it promotes the role of youth as well as of education as a driving force of European competitiveness.
