In the European Year of Youth, on the basis of Croatian Government’s Conclusion made on September 19, 2022, Croatian Railways Passenger Transport (HŽPP) is introducing a pilot project of more affordable transport for full-time students, which enables unlimited use of the railway for the unique monthly fare of HRK 75 (€9.95). for about 113,000 full-time students in the territory of the Republic of Croatia.

The project will be implemented from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023.

- This pilot project covers unlimited daily trips by train from place of residence to place of study and occasional trips, such as day trips, visits to the doctor, summer vacation trips and other travel, in 2nd class of regular trains on Croatia’s territory – they tell us from HŽPP.

The implementation of the pilot project will contribute to increasing student mobility, stopping emigration to urban areas and supporting demographic revitalization, improving citizens’ standard of living and encouraging the use of rail transport, according to HŽPP.
