Prof. Marko Trogrlić Ph.D., from University of Split’s Faculty of Humanities, elected the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna’s corresponding member

The Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna (Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften), at its session held on April 22, 2022, elected prof. Marko Trogrlić Ph.D., full professor at University of Split, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences’ Department of History, to be its corresponding member.

Austrian Academy of Sciences, based in Vienna, was founded in 1847 as the Imperial Academy of Sciences is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year. It is the largest and most important state scientific non-university institution in the Republic of Austria, which is developing a rich scientific research and publishing activity in humanities, social, natural and technical sciences, in its 25 research institutes and publishing house (Verlag der Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften).
