SEA-EU Makeathon finals - March 10 and 11 at the University of Split

Winners of the local SEA-EU Makeathon competitions from all universities in the Alliance will gather on Thursday, March 10, at the University of Split to present their solutions in the grand finale.

University of Split’s teams that will present their solutions are CRO SEA CLEAN APP from ‘Sunce’ association and Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, with their application for recording amounts of waste collected during sea and coastal clean-up actions, and ‘Oceanus’ association’s SEA ID, with an application that, scanning different species of fish, provides information such as weight and level of endangerment.

On Friday, March 11, partners from the SEA-EU Alliance will hold a joint workshop to exchange experiences related to the organization of the Maketahon. The ultimate goal is to create activity reports and proposals for co-creation activities to be submitted to the EIT Innovation Community.

The SEA-EU Makeathon competition is part of SEA-EU European University of the Sea activities, organized by University of Brest, University of Cadiz, University of Gdansk, University of Malta and University of Split, with the support of University of Kiel.
