STup!2021. took place - Split was once again the global epicenter of student entrepreneurship

Behind us is the second edition of the international university startup competition - STup!2021. Last two days, Split has been the global epicenter of student entrepreneurship. At the Faculty of Economics, University of Split, more precisely in its Grand Amphitheater, transmitted live via a virtual platform, a competition of startup teams connected to their home universities was held, and 33 startup teams representing 16 universities from 10 countries around the world were showcased. Startups representing the following universities attended the competition: universities of Split and Zagreb (Croatia), GEA College and University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Universities of Mostar, Sarajevo and Banja Luka (BiH), University of Belgrade (Serbia), Universities of Cadiz, Granada and Malaga (Spain), Pennsylvania State University (USA), University of Gdansk (Poland), University of Latvia (Latvia), University of Malta (Malta) and the Indian Institute of Information technologies in Allahabad (India). In addition to the competition, the event included 5 invited lectures by eminent experts from the world of entrepreneurship. And this is what it all looked like - in this order:

At the grand opening on behalf of the organizers and partner institutions, all those present were addressed by prof. Maja Fredotović, Ph.D. Dean of the Faculty of Economics, prof. Leandra Vranješ Markić Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, who spoke on behalf of University of Split and the European University of the Sea (SEA-EU) and Ela Žižić, Head of City of Split’s Department of Economy, Crafts and Tourism.
