Despite numerous challenges, due to the well-known circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, University of Split successfully organized the Science Festival, from May 10 to 15, with as many as 79 activities for all ages.

During the six days of the Festival, 29 activities were broadcast via-on university's YouTube channel, 26 were held via the Zoom platform, and 13 of them live with strict adherence to epidemiological measures and recommendations. Other activities such as presentations, virtual exhibitions, etc. are available on University of Split’s website.

14 university constituents and departments, 13 secondary and primary schools in the Split-Dalmatia County, two kindergartens, two institutes and five other institutions participated in organizing this year's activities, while more than 200 people participated in their design and implementation.

The theme of this year's Festival was "Culture of Science" and with it we wanted to communicate culture of science in a dialogue between scientists and the public, aiming to maintain mutual understanding and trust.

Most materials remain available on the University of Split’s YouTube Channel and website, already recording a significant number of views.

If you still have not, we invite you to visit our YouTube Channel and website and find something for yourself! We hope to see you in an equally cheerful and successful atmosphere next year, at the anniversary 20th Science Festival, in 2022.
