Workshops to generate ideas for UN sustainable development goals

Entrepreneurship Center Split and Faculty of Economics’ Student Entrepreneurship Incubator, University of Split, organize hackathon "Hack4Split" with the aim of contributing to solving local community problems – in the city of Split and its surroundings, training and educating young people for active citizenship and social entrepreneurship.

Anticipating the hackathon, in January we will have two trainings on techniques for generating ideas as part of solving local community problems:

• 11.1.2022, starting at 17:00, “Techniques of Generating Ideas and UN Sustainable Development Goals”

• 18.1.2022, starting at 17:00, "Generating ideas for local community problems within UN’s Sustainable Development Goals"

Michael Freer, who owns the social entrepreneurship consulting company "Ensoco" will hold the trainings. Workshops will take place live at the Faculty of Economics.

You can apply for the trainings HERE.

Day before the training, all participants will receive an email with the necessary information.

We encourage all those interested to get involved because after trainings on generating ideas techniques, there will also be trainings on social entrepreneurship, leading up to the social hackathon Hack4Split on April 9 and 10, 2022.

The hackathon will produce tangible solutions to detected local community problems in line with the UN's sustainable development goals.

All participants who complete training in a certain area will receive a Europass certificate for participation.

The project is co-financed by the EU’s European Solidarity Force and Croatia’s Central Office for Demography and Youth.
