ERA SHUTTLE - open second call for secondments, an opportunity for career development beyond academia
The ERA SHUTTLE project actively connects scientists and researchers with the broader European Research Area (ERA), building a bridge between academic and non-academic sectors. It is an ambitious project that enables staff mobility through structured secondments — temporary stays at partner institutions, aimed at strengthening competencies, knowledge transfer and fostering intersectoral collaboration.
Following the successful first call, a second call for secondments has been opened, offering new opportunities for University of Split employees to further develop their research and professional capacities through international and intersectoral cooperation.
What do secondments offer?
• Work in a dynamic environment outside academia (industry, research centres)
• Development of professional and transferable skills
• Widening contact networks and international experience
• Insight into practical aspects of research and innovation
• Support in organized administrative processes and funding
Who can apply?
Secondments are intended for University of Split employees from various scientific and professional fields (including science and research — support or administrative staff), who wish to enhance competencies, strengthen collaboration, and contribute to institutional capacities through experience of working in partner organizations.
Where can one go?
The ERA SHUTTLE project involves international partners from industry and academia. The opportunity for secondment is available at organizations in Germany, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Italy and Romania.
If you're interested in what it’s like to work outside the university and gain experience in leading European technological and industrial organizations — this is an opportunity for that.
Applications are open! More information on conditions and application process available at: ERA SHUTTLE - secondments
