On Monday, April 20, the physical part of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program (BIP) entitled "Managing Urban Tourism: Planning and Monitoring for Sustainability" kicked off at University of Split’s Faculty of Economics.
After the successfully completed virtual part, students and staff from partner European institutions gathered in Split, where they will experience an intensive program of lectures, workshops and fieldwork.
The program focuses on current challenges in urban tourism management, with an emphasis on sustainability, destination resilience and local community involvement. Participants will work with international experts to analyze concrete practical examples and exchange experiences in an international environment.
Gathering of students and professors from different European countries confirms the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange, providing participants with a valuable experience of learning, connecting and jointly reflecting on the future of sustainable tourism.
