As part of practical training, students from University Department for Professional Studies, under the mentorship of prof. Ivica Jušić, visited a top-category hotel with an exceptionally complex food and beverage department (F&B), Radisson Blu Resort & Spa. The hotel features a developed banquet department, a range of restaurants and bars, minibar and room service, providing students with an insight into organization and business operations of the F&B sector at a high professional level.
Hosts of the visit were Birol Koç, F&B Operations Manager, and Renata Piškorjanac, HR Recruitment and Training Manager, to whom we express our gratitude on behalf of University for their hospitality and cooperation.
Students learned about the operation of an international hotel brand and gained knowledge about quality management, application of standards, and work organization in the food and beverage department.
