Finals of the start-up competition

After a two-year break, caused by the pandemic, 'Get in the Ring' competition took place, and with 6 selected start-ups that went through all stages trailed by an international jury from the world of entrepreneurship and investment management. The start-up Wingo took the victory, or the trip to the global competition next year, and HRK 120,000, with an energy-efficient smart table with built-in heating, intended primarily for the HoReCa sector. It is the first such that uses conduction in heating.

In addition to Wingo, there were also runner-up Metabelly and Mr.Popper, winning 3rd place, together with AymoLive, Helm Order Monitor and Resplit.

On behalf of the organizer, prof. Ivica Puljak Ph.D., Mayor of Split and prof. Vinko Muštra Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Economics, and prof. Leandra Markić Vranješ Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation, addressed those gathered there. They expressing satisfaction with the organization of events and Split's start-up scene's progress, inviting everyone present, especially competitors, to continue their dedicated work on finding solutions improving the quality of life in our community.

Organizing this competition, the City of Split has positioned itself on the global business-entrepreneurial map as part of international 'Get in the Ring' community, including-covering 200 cities around the world.
