On Friday, November 15, 2024, a ceremonial promotion of Faculty of Science graduates took place. Dean Prof. Mile Dželalija Ph.D., alongside vice deans for Education assoc. prof. Gordan Radobolja Ph.D. and for Social Responsibility and Collaboration with Economy assoc. prof. Tomislav Rončević Ph.D., promoted 83 bachelors and 72 masters, and presented Dean's Awards to most successful students.
“I sincerely congratulate everyone on their achievements, and I truly believe that this diploma will motivate our further success. It serves as a reminder that any obstacle in life can be overcome with enough desire and hard work. However, I would like to emphasize that we are not only celebrating these diplomas but so much more. We celebrate all beautiful, but also challenging moments we have gone through together over the years,” said Jere Mandušić to his colleagues, addressing the audience on behalf of all promoted graduates.
“Don’t forget to keep learning and build new collaborations and friendships. Faculty of Science in Split is your permanent home for joint research, learning, socializing, and goodwill,” the dean concluded, inviting graduates to join the Alumni Association and remain connected to the Faculty, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary this academic year.
