Event "Science on Marjan" brought together over 600 children, who had the opportunity to explore the world of science in a fun and creative way through numerous scientific experiments, educational workshops, and interactive activities, at Technology Park in Split.

Experts and educators from some ten different institutions and associations prepared a diverse program intended for children, youth, and the general public. Visitors participated in educational workshops, creative tasks, experiments and activities that connected science, education, and entertainment in a simple and accessible manner.

The Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries organized this event as part of the project Science Comes To Town and this year's Sudamija program. Institute's scientists prepared a series of activities dedicated to the sea, aquaculture, and environmental protection, in which children could explore topics such as microplastics, invasive species, conservation of marine ecosystems and biodiversity in the Adriatic Sea.
