Within SEA-EU’s Virtual Language Platform, new online language courses are available for partner universities’ students, teachers and staff. The programs are designed to help participants develop language skills and better navigate international and academic environments.
Below is an overview of currently available courses.
Spanish A1.1 - Intensive Introduction to Spanish
March 9 - April 15
This course is intended for beginners who want to acquire basic knowledge of the Spanish language and develop key communication skills.
The course covers:
• Greetings and farewells
• Numbers and alphabet
• Asking for and providing personal information
• Describing places
• Talking about occupations, nationalities, free time and weather
• Gender, number and agreement (articles, adjectives, demonstrative and possessive pronouns)
• Present tense (-AR, -ER, -IR verbs)
• Using basic and useful expressions

Spanish A1.2 - Intensive Beginner Course
September 28 - November 9
This course is intended for participants with basic knowledge of Spanish who wish to develop communication skills and expand grammatical structures.
The course covers:
• Describing people (appearance and personality)
• Talking about habits and daily routines
• Expressing likes, dislikes, and preferences
• Talking about family and friends
• Present tense (irregular verbs)
• Comparisons in Spanish
• Basic Spanish prepositions

Specialized conversation course in English focused on communication and vocabulary related to academic and university environments. It is intended for intermediate and advanced level English speakers.
