European Researchers' Night again in Croatia!

The University of Split is the coordinator of the positively rated Horizon’s project RECONNECT SCIENCE WITH THE BLUE SOCIETY (Blue-connect), within the MSCA Researchers' Night call. Blue-connect brings together partners from 5 cities in Croatia with a maritime orientation (Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries, Mediterranean Institute for Life Research, Institute for Adriatic Cultures and Karst Melioration, University of Dubrovnik, University of Zadar, ‘Juraj Dobrila’ University of Pula, University of Rijeka and its Science and Technology Park - STEP-RI), whose research are mostly based on natural, biomedical, environmental, social and economic aspects of the sea.

The project’s main goal is to reconnect science with society, bringing research and researchers closer to the public, strengthening understanding of science and research education, as well as public’s faith in science and researchers and, generally, its impact on society in the Mediterranean.

The project lasts for 18 months and first activities begin immediately after the 20th Science Festival.

In addition to taking place in five cities in Croatia (Pula, Rijeka, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik), the event will also take place in many other European cities.

We invite you to follow us regularly, because more information about upcoming project activities will follow soon!
