First student in University of Split’s Faculty of Humanities’ international teaching base

Teaching bases (or university-industry cooperations) present an important part of the student experience. University of Split considers its partners in that area extremely important.

Paola Miletić is the first student who did her internship at University of Split’s Faculty of Humanities’ international teaching base - Istituto San Leone Magno (Cambridge Institute in Rome), where she spent three months. According to her, the experience was a great one:

"The traineeship proved to be an extremely useful and valuable experience that gave me direct insight into teaching English.

In just three months, I had the opportunity to learn a lot, improve my skills and gain the confidence that is necessary for quality teaching.

I would like to thank the Faculty of Humanities, especially the administration which, by signing this agreement, made my traineeship possible, and my mentors who provided me help and support at every step. I believe that the cooperation with San Leone Magno Institute is something that makes our Faculty stand out. I would recommend this internship to any student who wants to acquire new knowledge and skills and invest in their professional future."
