University of Split among the top 4.1 percent again this year in CWUR ranking

The University of Split strengthened its position in the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), ranking this year among best 4.1%, out of 20,531 world universities, compared to 2020, when it was ranked in top 8, 9%.

Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) is a leading organization that advises on policies and strategies, providing consultancy services to governments and universities, in order to improve educational and research outcomes. CWUR publishes global rankings of universities, known for their objectivity, transparency and consistency, for students, the academic community and state administration.

Ranking in 837th place, University received an overall score of 71.4, about the same overall score it received last year, however, almost 750 universities more were included this year.

University achieved a high rating of research performance (800th place out of 20,531).

University of Split’s Vice-rector for Science and Quality, prof. Igor Jerković Ph.D. commented on the achieved ranking, saying that "we are satisfied to be among leading 4.1% on CWUR’s ranking, and that our scientists, professors and other employees who keep working on improving quality at University, not only in Croatia, but also on the world level", made a great contribution.
