Applications are open for a pub quiz organized by Science Comes to Town and Erasmus Generation Meeting Split 2026, which will take place on April 17th from 7 to 9:30 PM at Baraka BBQ & Brew Bar, Vukovarska Street 35C, Split.
The quiz, to be conducted in English, will be hosted by the well-known quizmaster Dean Kotiga.
Participation in the quiz is free, and all donations will be directed to the Down Syndrome 21 Split association. You can register via this link, where you will find all details related to the event and application process. Each participant must register individually, as one person cannot register an entire team.
Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM) is the largest student organized conference in Europe, bringing together institutions, Erasmus+ alumni and student representatives from across Europe and beyond to collaboratively shape the future of youth mobility. Split is hosting EGM’s 5th edition and this is the first time it will take place in Croatia, after previous hosts were Porto, Bucharest, Seville and Ancona.
This year's Erasmus Generation Meeting, with the overall theme "Skill Development through Student Mobility," in line with the slogan "Port of Mobility, Gateway to Skills," includes workshops, panel discussions and social activities promoting knowledge exchange, networking and intercultural dialogue.
Science Comes to Town is an international project funded through the Horizon Europe program, aimed at connecting science and citizens through a year of public events and interactive activities in three European cities - Split, Kiel and Brest. In over a thousand activities involving more than 70 partners, participating cities will become live laboratories and meeting places for science and citizens. The program includes festivals, workshops, debates and various creative formats, expecting the participation of over 1.5 million citizens.
