Registration is now open for this year’s “72 Hours Without Compromise” volunteer project, which will once again bring together hundreds of young people in Split and its surroundings from October 15 to 18. Each year, this wave of volunteering brings together more than 3,000 volunteers across Croatia, taking part in over 250 work, social and environmental volunteer activities.
Under the slogan “If not you, who?”, young people will take part in around 60 different social, work and environmental volunteer activities. Plans include socializing with older people, workshops with children and people with disabilities, tidying up gardens and public spaces, cleaning the environment, and numerous activities supporting the local community.
This project was launched in Croatia in Split, in 2014, and has spread to numerous Croatian cities. The Split edition is organized by Split Catholic Student Center (SKAC_ST).
No special requirements or previous experience are needed to take part. Individuals and groups can sign up; all that matters is a willingness to dedicate your time to others. Registration is open on the official “72 Hours Without Compromise” website. More information is available on SKAC_ST’s website and social media channels.
If not you, who? Get involved and be part of the change.
