Our scientists at University Department of Forensic Sciences published a paper in the prestigious journal PLOS ONE

We are proud to announce that a team of our scientists, from University Department of Forensic Sciences successfully published a paper in the prestigious journal PLOS ONE. Their research, titled "Classifying age from medial clavicle using a 30-year threshold," makes a significant contribution to developing methods for accurate age estimation using artificial intelligence and MSCT scans.

The research was part of Nela Ivković’s diploma thesis, under the mentorship of assoc. prof. Željana Bašić Ph.D. and assist. prof. Ivan Jerković Ph.D., and it demonstrated that with dedication, effort, and mentorship, diploma theses can be published in most prestigious journals.
