The VIP lounge of "Kampus" restaurant hosted a panel discussion Scientific Espresso, organized in cooperation with BlockSplit. 
        
The panel discussed future of science, decentralized technology, and Web3’s transformative potential in research and academia. 
        
Experts who shared their knowledge and experience are:  
 
Friederike Kleinfercher - co-founder and CEO of blxb labs and deputy general director of Max Planck Digital Library.

Leonie Raijmakers - originally academic in genetics and epidemiology, Leonie has worked extensively with (public) data of varying complexity and accessibility. In 2023, she joined DeSci Labs to support creation of publishing platform that shares (and integrates) data and code with research publications, for continuous (blockchain-based) access to research in all its (digital) forms.
      
Tomaso Aste - complexity science professor at UCL’s Computer Science Department. As a physicist, he made significant contributions to research into analysis of complex structures, modeling financial systems, and machine learning.

Boris Nachtsheim - professor of organic chemistry at University of Bremen and co-founder of OpenSci GmbH. He founded this startup in 2023, with the aim of innovating the scientific scene using AI and blockchain technology.
