University Gallery hosted University of Split’s award ceremony of Implementation Agreements for Institutional Research Projects. The University of Split was approved a total of 59 institutional research projects, with a total value of 11,828,337.84 euros. These projects are financed through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (National Recovery and Resilience Plan).
These projects aim to strengthen research infrastructure, improve laboratory capacities, and create a stimulating environment for scientific work, with a particular emphasis on involving young researchers. Their implementation will further promote interdisciplinary collaboration among University's components and increase international visibility and recognition of scientific results.
In his speech, University's rector, prof. Dragan Ljutić Ph.D., emphasized the importance of continuous investment in science and research, as foundations of social and economic development. "Our University is well recognized, and our city is now the capital of science. Every day we grow, climb higher, and move forward, despite strong competition. We achieve results we are proud of. I sincerely congratulate all recipients and deans, well done and keep at it," the rector said.
In ceremony’s central part, he presented project leaders with Implementation Agreements for Institutional Research Projects, marking the start of their realization.
