The prestigious Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Most Cited Scientists list for 2024 has been published. This recognition from Stanford/Elsevier further strengthens University’s reputation as a centre for relevant research across multiple disciplines, from engineering and natural sciences to medicine and beyond.
The latest annual list includes 14 scientists from University of Split’s 7 faculties, testifying to their current impact and relevance in selected fields: Sandro Nižetić (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, FESB), Frano Barbir (FESB), Ante Munjiza (Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy, FGAG), Damir Vukičević (Faculty of Science, PMF), Andrina Granić (PMF), Ana Marušić (School of Medicine, MF), Ognjen Bonacci (FGAG), Ozren Polašek (MF), Ivana Novak (MF), Vida Šimat (University Department of Marine Studies), Damir Sekulić (Faculty of Kinesiology), Igor Jerković (Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology, KTF), Zenon Pogorelić (MF), and Dragan Poljak (FESB).
Stanford also evaluates scientists whose work has had a lasting impact throughout their careers.
