SEA-EU invites: Online courses of English and Maltese!

University of Malta is organizing Virtual Language Courses (VLC) designed for students and staff of partner institutions in SEA-EU Alliance.

Academic English for Developing Readers and Writers 2

This course builds on skills acquired in the Academic English Foundations and develops bilities needed for critical reading of academic texts, writing structured essays, building arguments, using sources, and effective academic communication. The program is aimed at preparing students for undergraduate studies.

Workshop: Framing Citation in Academic Texts

This workshop focuses on understanding and applying citation in academic writing. Participants will learn how to analyze citations in scientific texts and to effectively incorporate them into their own work, respecting disciplinary standards and strengthening academic expression.

Maltese as a Foreign Language - Beginner Level

This course is intended for complete beginners who wish to learn the Maltese language. The program includes basics of pronunciation, reading and writing, as well as everyday expressions such as introducing oneself, family and friends, with an introduction to Maltese language and culture.

Maltese as a Foreign Language - Elementary Level

This program is designed for participants who already have basic knowledge of Maltese. The course develops communication skills needed in everyday situations such as expressing needs, making reservations, asking for directions, shopping and talking about daily life. The program follows the CEFR framework and completing it, participants reach level A1.
