From September 24 to 26, 2024, University of Split’ Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences hosted the SEA-EU Staff Week titled "Fostering Educational Excellence and Development of Higher Education Quality through Transversal Skills."
The event brought together educators, administrators, and non-teaching staff from various SEA-EU partner institutions, with the aim of promoting excellence in higher education developing transversal skills-essential for personal, social, and professional well-being.
The three-day program was carefully designed to enhance quality of teaching and institutional standards, featuring lectures, discussions and opportunities for collaboration.
SEA-EU Staff Week contributed to exchange of knowledge, cooperation and experiences in the field of higher education. This initiative directly supports SEA-EU Alliance’s Work Package 2, which aims to improve quality of teaching and learning through innovative practices and shared experiences across Europe and Southeast Asia. The emphasis on transversal skills is part of SEA-EU's strategic objectives to promote inclusive, sustainable, and high-quality education that prepares students to face contemporary global challenges.
