What is COIL?
COIL or Collaborative Online International Learning is an innovative teaching approach that connects students and teachers from partner universities in different countries through shared online activities and projects integrated into regular courses. This model of virtual international collaboration allows students gaining international experience without physical mobility and helps them develop intercultural, communication and digital skills. COIL was developed by the SUNY COIL Centre at State University of New York and is now used by universities worldwide.
Within the SEA-EU alliance, COIL is an important tool for strengthening collaboration among partner universities. It enables teachers and students to learn together, exchange experiences and work on international projects in a virtual environment, supporting the goals of internationalisation, inclusion and developing innovative forms of mobility in European higher education.
Please send applications to the email addresses below by October 2 (maximum five participants per university).
